Description
This is Peter Opsvik's 1983 design, the Gravity™ balans chair, offering three positions: from kneeling to fully reclined. The first position resembles the kneeling posture with both knees placed on front footrests, akin to the Variable stool from 1979. The second position allows for sitting upright with feet optionally on the footrest or on the ground. In the third position, the chair leans back to a suspended recline, enabling freedom of movement for lying straight or sideways. The headrest features two wooden knobs for adjusting height.
