Cassina LC3 Sofa
Description
The two chairs included in our collection are exceptionally rare products from the first 100 produced by Cassina, with production serial numbers 66 and 71, respectively. The LC3 was originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier as a modernist interpretation of the traditional club chair.
The LC3 features a metal frame that can be completely detached from the cushions, resembling four cushions set within a metal basket. Its design independence follows the logic of industrial production and adheres to the principles of rationalism, effectively allowing the frame and cushions of the chair to be reversed inside and out.
